Established in 1991, EMA Global is a Singapore-based medical assistance company led by experienced clinicians and industry veterans. We deliver critical support across medical evacuation a repatriation, and coordinated emergency care, supported by a trained emergency response team operating globally.

Our services are designed to support organisations and individuals during time-critical situations, including medical crises, workplace incidents, and travel-related emergencies.

EMA Global is fully accredited by EURAMI, an independent European organisation that assesses operating standards of aeromedical service providers. This accreditation reinforces our role in structured crisis response in Singapore and internationally.

All medical personnel are carefully selected based on clinical experience, professional track record, and operational readiness. To maintain high standards, our teams undergo regular recurrent training, simulations, and safety assessments.

This capability enables structured crisis management Singapore organisations depend on during high-risk events.

Our History

EMA Global began operations in 1991 under Express Medical Assistance, founded by Dr Winston Jong, an anaesthetist and intensivist with extensive hospital-based experience.

At a time when aeromedicine was not widely practised in the region, EMA became a pioneer in Asia performing advanced patient transfers including ECMO and IABP support.

Over time, EMA evolved from a medical evacuation provider into a fully integrated medical and crisis assistance organisation, supporting organisations with medical coordination, travel risk mitigation, and medical emergency response planning for workplaces.
