As Chief Operations Officer of EMA Global, he oversees the company’s assistance centers, supports business development initiatives, drives product innovation, and ensures the delivery of high-quality services to clients and members worldwide. His extensive operational and clinical expertise has been instrumental in strengthening EMA Global’s commitment to providing responsive and reliable assistance solutions.

Loh Kim Loon

Head of Assistance

Mr Loh is the current Head of Assistance, a highly experienced crisis operations professional with over 25 years of operational experience in the international medical and security assistance industry. He has extensive hands-on expertise in managing complex medical evacuations, security evacuations, and large-scale crisis responses across multiple regions worldwide. His career spans frontline operations, regional oversight, and global oordination, with a strong track record in handling high-risk, time-critical cases involving multiple stakeholders, including governments, healthcare providers, insurers, and corporate clients. Mr Loh has played key roles in several major international crisis responses, winning multiple industry awards.

Mark Ryan Rodil

Associate Operations Director, Malaysia

Mark Ryan is a graduate of Bachelor of Broadcast Communications from the Polytechnic University of the Philippines. With nearly 20 years of experience in the travel insurance industry, he has developed extensive expertise in operations management, customer assistance, and team leadership. Currently overseeing a team of 50 professionals in Malaysia Operations, Mark Ryan is committed to ensuring clients receive prompt, efficient, and high-quality assistance at every stage of their journey. Joy is a Registered Nurse with more than 20 years of experience in emergency medical services and travel assistance. His career began with five years as an Emergency Room Nurse at Cardinal Santos Medical Center, followed by four years as a Clinical Instructor, where he played an important role in mentoring and developing future healthcare professionals. He also served as an Escort Nurse for five years, providing specialized medical support and patient care coordination during travel. With extensive experience in medical assistance operations and a strong clinical foundation, Joy brings valuable insight into the needs and challenges faced by assistance teams. His deep understanding of healthcare delivery, combined with his operational expertise and nursing background, enables him to effectively manage and strengthen EMA Global’s provider network. As Provider & Network Manager, he is committed to building strong partnerships with healthcare providers worldwide and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, responsive, and cost-effective services to clients across the globe.
