Imagine someone you love falling critically ill far from home. In 1991, bringing them back safely was a gamble, because standards of medical transport across Asia varied widely. Anaesthetist and intensivist Dr Winston Jong founded EMA Global to change that, with one promise: the care would never stop when the journey began.

Raising the bar for aeromedical care.
When aeromedical care was still rare in Asia, our teams helped shape it, taking on complex transfers few were equipped for. Someone on ECMO or IABP support. A newborn fighting for breath. A mother in a high-risk pregnancy. Severe burns, a spinal injury, or an infectious disease that needs flying in isolation. These are the cases we're built for.

From evacuation to integrated assistance.
As our clients' needs grew, so did we. What began as medical evacuation now covers the whole journey, from travel risk advice before a trip to 24/7 medical coordination and emergency response planning for the workplace. Insurers and corporates now have one partner for all of it.

The same promise, 35 years on.
More than 12,000 missions later, everyone in our care still receives ICU-level attention, by air or on the ground. Our safety record remains 100%.
