Executive Leadership
Our leaders have done the work themselves. They have treated patients in intensive care, flown as flight nurses, operated air ambulances, managed crises in over 40 countries and commanded at sea. That experience shapes every decision we make for the people in our care.
Dr. Winston Jong
Founder, Group CEO and Group Medical Director
A practising intensivist and anaesthetist, Dr Jong is a leading expert in aeromedical transport and chairs international forums on clinical safety and complex repatriations. Under his leadership, EMA Global's protocols and training reflect current ICU practice, not textbook standards. Insurers, corporates and families can trust that every patient is in expert hands, from first call to final handover.
Dexter Tan
Group Deputy CEO and Acting Chief Technology Officer
Dexter brings over 15 years of leadership and sets EMA Global's group strategy across operations, provider network and quality control. As Acting Chief Technology Officer, he also leads product development and the deployment of AI across the business. Insurers and corporates get faster case handling, real-time visibility and a partner that keeps investing in better service.
Jaslyn Siow
Group Chief of Medical Operations
Jaslyn has spent over 34 years as an acute care nurse, so she knows exactly what a critically ill patient needs in transit. She commands all of EMA Global's medical operations and every medical escort we deploy, from routine transfers to the most complex long-range repatriations. Insurers and families can be confident that no patient is ever moved without the right clinician, the right plan and the right care.
Dr Rowena Kwan
Group Director, Aviation
Dr Kwan has worked in general aviation since 2005, including owning and operating Learjet 35A and Learjet 60 air ambulances, and holds doctoral research in healthcare management. She leads EMA Global's flight operations, aircraft management and aviation compliance. Insurers, corporates and families get flights planned around both aviation safety and the patient's clinical needs.
Reine Jong
Group Chief of Legal and People
Admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore in 2012 after graduating from Durham University, Reine also spent several years in Corporate Finance and Capital Markets. She leads legal, compliance and HR across EMA Global's regional offices. Insurers and corporates get clear contracts, fast due diligence and one consistent standard of governance in every country we operate in.
Nicholas Chia
Group Chief Financial Officer
Nicholas brings 16 years of investment banking experience in Hong Kong and Singapore and is an alumnus of Harvard Business School's Program for Leadership Development. He leads EMA Global's regional finance and corporate strategy, including integrating new centres into the group. Insurers and corporates get a stable, well-governed partner they can rely on for the long term.
Beda Biala Jr
Group Chief Operations Officer
A registered nurse with nearly 30 years in emergency medical and travel assistance, Beda has served as an emergency room and flight nurse. He runs EMA Global's six in-house assistance centres and drives service innovation. Every call is answered by teams who have treated patients themselves, wherever your people are.
Tony Ridley
Group Chief Security and Risk Advisor
Tony has spent three decades in risk governance and travel security, responding to crises in over 40 countries, and has published more than 136 research contributions in the field. He leads EMA Global's travel risk intelligence and security frameworks across Asia Pacific, spotting threats before they reach your people. Corporates get the intelligence, plans and on-the-ground support to protect their teams and meet their duty of care before, during and after every trip.
Jimmy Goh
Group Chief Information Security Officer
A former Commanding Officer in the Republic of Singapore Navy, Jimmy brings 25 years in cyber security and a military approach to protecting what matters. He leads EMA Global's information and data security, covering risk management, incident response and governance across the group. Insurers, corporates and families can share sensitive medical and personal data knowing it's guarded as seriously as the patient.
