He oversees the provider network and quality control, so standards set in Singapore hold across every country we operate in. Beda started as an emergency room and flight nurse and has spent almost three decades in emergency medical and travel assistance. He leads EMA Global Philippines, covering the full range of our work there: 24/7 case management, guarantees of payment, provider networks, medical escorts and air ambulance transfers across the islands and overseas. Every case is handled by a team that knows the local hospitals, the paperwork and the fastest safe route home.

With 35 years in the assistance industry, Pom is one of the most experienced assistance leaders in Thailand. He leads EMA Global Thailand and its in-house assistance centre, working with hospitals and partners he has known for decades. When a traveller falls ill in Bangkok, Phuket or Chiang Mai, those relationships open doors quickly.

Taro-san has spent two decades in assistance, leading teams across travel and medical assistance, claims and fraud investigation. He heads EMA Global Japan and its in-house assistance centre, drawing on deep knowledge of Japanese insurance and healthcare. Insurers get cases managed by someone who knows where costs go wrong, while travellers and their families get care arranged in their own language.

Ivor is a 25-year industry veteran with a proven track record in regional medical assistance. He leads EMA Global China in Shenzhen, our first assistance centre on the Chinese mainland, with a dedicated local medical team fluent in Cantonese and Mandarin. His team knows the hospitals, the checkpoints and the cross-border system from the inside, so clients get seamless care between mainland China and Hong Kong.
