Dr. Winston Jong
Group CEO and Group Medical Director
Dr. Jong, Founder, Group CEO, and Group Medical Director of EMA Global, is a distinguished authority in clinical anaesthesia, intensive care medicine, and aeromedical transport. He oversees all medical care protocols, training programs, and quality assurance for EMA Global's global transport operations. Through chairing medical directors' and assistance forums, Dr. Jong leads critical discussions among international medical directors, flight physicians, and assistance experts on clinical safety, medevac decision-making, and complex repatriation cases. His thought leadership and collaborative approach position EMA Global at the forefront of innovation and best practices in global medical repatriation services.
Dexter Tan
Deputy CEO and Chief Technology Officer
Dexter is Deputy CEO and Acting Chief Technology Officer of EMA Global, leveraging over 15 years of executive leadership to drive the company's strategic vision and operational excellence. He oversees critical business units across operations, network infrastructure, and quality control while championing EMA Global's digital transformation through AI solution development and deployment. Dexter leads special initiatives in product and service innovation, ensuring sustainable growth and maintaining EMA Global's competitive edge in the evolving global marketplace.
Jaslyn Siow
Group Chief of Medical Operations
Jaslyn brings over 34 years of acute care and leadership experience to her role as Group Chief Medical Operations Officer. A State Registered Nurse since 1992, she is the primary architect of EMA Global’s clinical standards, directing the logistics and safety protocols for complex aeromedical evacuations and critical care transfers worldwide. With a Bachelor of Health Science from the University of Sydney and a specialized background in anaesthesia and perioperative care, Jaslyn excels at managing high-acuity patients during long-range repatriations. She ensures a seamless transition of care across international borders, overseeing the precise coordination of medical teams and life-support equipment. Her clinical judgment and operational rigor are central to EMA Global’s ability to execute challenging medevac assignments with consistent excellence.
Dr Rowena Kwan
Group Director, Aviation
Dr. Rowena Kwan has been a leader in general aviation since 2005, with extensive expertise in air ambulance operations and executive charter services. An aircraft owner, she brings first-hand experience in aircraft management, maintenance, and the complex regulatory landscape governing aviation. This practical knowledge enables her to oversee flight operations with a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and operational excellence. As Group Aviation Director, Dr. Kwan combines her aviation expertise with her doctoral research in healthcare management to bridge clinical excellence and mission-critical flight logistics. Her unique multidisciplinary perspective ensures that EMA Global delivers seamless, safe, and patient-centred aviation services across the region.
Reine Jong
Group Chief of Legal and People
Reine graduated from Durham University and was admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore in 2012. She spent several years working in Corporate Finance and Capital Markets before joining EMA Global, where she now oversees both legal and human resources across the company's regional offices. Reine handles the full spectrum of legal matters for the group, from regulatory compliance to corporate governance issues spanning multiple jurisdictions. On the HR side, she manages everything from recruiting top talent to designing compensation strategies and analyzing workforce data. Her unique background in both legal frameworks and human capital strategy enables her to ensure people programs are legally compliant while driving organisational success. This integrated approach has been key to EMA Global building strong regional teams while maintaining regulatory excellence across multiple markets.
Nicholas Chia
Group Chief Financial Officer
Nicholas is the Group Chief Financial Officer of EMA Global. He oversees EMA Global's regional finance, business integration and process improvements, focused on improving productivity. He is also involved in the groups overall corporate strategy and new business opportunities that support the long term growth of the company. Nicholas graduated with an Mathematics degree from Queen Mary, University of London and completed his Program for Leadership Development at Harvard Business School in 2020. Prior to joining the medical assistance industry, Nicholas was a investment banker for 16 years in Hong Kong and Singapore.
Beda Biala Jr
Group Chief Operations Officer
With nearly 30 years of experience in the emergency medical and travel assistance industry, Beda is a registered nurse whose clinical background includes emergency room nursing and service as a flight nurse. As Chief Operations Officer of EMA Global, he oversees the company’s assistance centers, supports business development initiatives, drives product innovation, and ensures the delivery of high-quality services to clients and members worldwide. His extensive operational and clinical expertise has been instrumental in strengthening EMA Global’s commitment to providing responsive and reliable assistance solutions.
Tony Ridley
Group Chief Security & Risk Advisor
Tony Ridley has three decades of enterprise risk governance and travel security expertise. As Chief Security & Risk Advisor at EMA Global, he leads the development of scalable travel risk intelligence and security assistance frameworks across the Asia-Pacific region. With operational experience spanning government critical infrastructure protection, crisis response across 40+ countries, and board-level risk advisory, Tony combines academic rigour with practical operational insight. His work has produced over 136 published research contributions on transnational security and travel risk.
Jimmy Goh
Group Chief Information Security Officer
Jimmy Goh is a former Commanding Officer in the Republic of Singapore Navy. Across a 26 year career, he served in the capacity of commanding officer of ships, squadrons and flotilla and commander of Coastal Command. For the last 25 years, Jimmy has worked in the cyber security industry and leads the Information and Data Security division in EMA Global, covering insider threats, risk management, incidence response, and governance.
